Nutrition and physical activity are very important topics to consider in your child’s overall health. You will want to talk to your pediatrician about what is considered good nutrition for your child; he/she can help you with selecting portion sizes, food groups, and eating a well-balanced meal and healthy eating tips in general. Your pediatrician can also answer any questions you have regarding appropriate physical activity and activitiy for your child.
Don’t be discouraged if your pediatrician does not have time to go over every topic with you during your visit. Keep a running list of the important things you want to discuss with your health care provider and come to the next appointment prepared to discuss specifics.
