Blog: 5-2-1-0 To Go

The Greater Rochester Health Foundation has launched its HEALTHY HERO fan page on Facebook!

Our goal is to provide a place where parents, grandparents, advocates, teachers and others can share information and resources about keeping kids healthy and active.

We’ll post fun activities to do with your kids, healthy recipes, nutritional information, national and local research and offers from our community partners. We encourage you to post anything that our fans might find interesting and helpful, too.

Our local studies show that we need to give the community more information on how to keep our kids on the 5 2 1 0 track and better define what 5 2 1 0 means. A 5 2 1 0 lifestyle means 5 fruits and veggies a day, 2 hours or less of computer or TV time each day, 1 hour of active play and 0 sugary drinks.

Our fan page is easy to find: www.facebook.com/HealthyHero. Please click “Become A Fan” and you will see our daily updates in your News Feed. If you have friends or family who would also benefit from this information on Facebook, then click the “suggest page to your friends” link and invite individuals from your friend list.

We look forward to hearing from you. Join us on Facebook today!
